Everything you need to know about tracking attendance, tasks, leaves and cab allowance with TrackMyOffice. Looking for step-by-step instructions? Browse the Docs.
TrackMyOffice is a free office attendance tracker built for hybrid work. It helps you log work-from-office, work-from-home and leave days, manage daily tasks and meetings, and keep an eye on metrics like your WFO percentage and cab allowance eligibility.
Yes. You can create a free account and use the full attendance tracker, daily journal, meetings, holidays and cab allowance features on the web, as an installable PWA, or via the Android and iOS apps.
Your attendance, journal entries, tasks and meeting notes are tied to your account and protected — only you can read and write your own records. Office locations and company holiday lists are shared centrally for everyone in the company, but your private journal content stays private to you.
Every feature has a short how-to guide in our Help & Docs section — from creating your account and marking attendance to GPS auto-attendance, cab allowance and security settings. Visit the Docs page from the homepage, from the app sidebar under Help, or go to /docs.
Open the Attendance page, tap any day on the calendar and choose WFO (work from office), WFH (work from home) or Leave. You can also bulk-mark a date range — for example a full WFH week — and weekends are skipped automatically.
Once office locations are available for your company, a geo-fence is drawn around them. Turn on "Auto attendance" in Settings, grant location permission, and when your phone detects you at the office during working hours it marks the day as WFO for you — no manual check-in needed. Auto-marking never overwrites a day you have already marked, and you can always adjust entries manually.
Auto attendance appears only after office locations have been set up for your company. If the option is missing, office locations may not be configured yet — please contact your company support team. The app checks automatically, so the option appears without a reload once locations are available.
On the web, location checks run while the app tab is open. The Android and iOS apps (and the installed PWA) can keep checking location in the background after you leave the app — grant "Location: Allow all the time" during setup so auto-attendance keeps working.
Yes. Tap any marked day on the Attendance calendar to change its status or clear it. This includes days that were marked automatically by GPS — you always have the final say.
Leave balances are credited automatically every month according to your company policy, and adjust as you mark leave days. You can see the current balance in Settings → Holidays (or your profile) at any time.
Your company shares a holiday list that you can import from Settings → Holidays, and the dates fill your calendar automatically. The dashboard also shows upcoming holidays so you can plan long weekends in advance.
Set your quarterly cab allowance amount and the minimum WFO percentage required by your company policy. TrackMyOffice computes your actual WFO ratio from marked attendance and shows exactly how much reimbursement you are eligible for. The number updates with every attendance entry.
You can enable push reminders to mark attendance, plus reminders for your tasks and meetings, so nothing slips through. Reminders work on the web, the installed PWA and the native apps — even when TrackMyOffice is not open.
First, enable notifications in Settings and grant the browser/device permission when prompted. On mobile, also allow notifications for the app in your system settings. You can send a test notification from Settings to confirm everything is wired up correctly.
Use "Forgot password" on the login screen and a reset link will be emailed to you. While signed in, you can change your password any time in Settings → Account & Security. If you signed up with Google, you can set a password from the same place.
Settings → Account & Security → "Where you’re signed in" lists every active device with its browser/app, last-active time and IP address. You can log out any individual device after confirming, or log out everywhere else in one tap if a device is lost.
Data is stored securely with encryption in transit and at rest, and every table is protected so your records are only accessible from your own account. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes. The app caches pages and your recently viewed data on the device, so everything loads without internet. Changes made offline — attendance, journal entries, meetings — are queued and synced to the cloud automatically in order once you reconnect, and your sign-in stays alive throughout.
On Android, open the site in Chrome and choose "Install app" from the menu (or install the Android app if your company distributes one). On iPhone or iPad, open the site in Safari, tap Share and choose "Add to Home Screen". Then allow location "all the time" and notifications for background auto-attendance.
Completely. The Android/iOS apps, the installed PWA and the website are the same product with one account — anything you do on one appears everywhere else, usually within seconds.
